Mushroom Picking Season

Autumn and spring are the best times for mushroom picking. Mushrooms, nourished by rainwater underground, emerge after the rain and grow very quickly.

Growing mushrooms are not pulled out by their roots, but rather cut off one by one near the soil using a cutting tool.

Harvested mushrooms must be cooled quickly. They can be stored for up to one week at -1 °C to 0 °C, 4-5 days at 0 °C to 1 °C, and 3 days at 3 °C in cold storage with a relative humidity of 85%. When the temperature drops below -1 °C, cold damage occurs in the mushrooms in the form of discoloration.
